Matthew 6:20-21
King James Version
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also.
Why is my goal to have a pure heart?
Because JESUS said:
Matthew 5:8
King James Version
8 Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God.
I don't have a perfect heart.
Romans 3:23
King James Version
23 For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God;
I want to be worthy of the LORD's cross:
Philippians 2:8
King James Version
8 And being found in fashion as a man,
he humbled himself,
and became obedient unto death,
even the death of the cross.
1 Peter 3:18
King James Version
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,
the just for the unjust,
that he might bring us to God,
being put to death in the flesh,
but quickened by the Spirit:
1 John 2:2
King James Version
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins:
and not for ours only,
but also for the sins of the whole world.
JESUS is coming back.
He will have His faithful meet Him up in the air.
I want to be ready for the RAPTURE.
I want to tell everyone, too.
For that's where JESUS led me.
To tell you all about it.
To prepare.
And be blameless.
2 Peter 3:13-14
King James Version
13 Nevertheless we,
according to his promise,
look for new heavens and a new earth,
wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore,
beloved,
seeing that ye look for such things,
be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace,
without spot,
and blameless.
Those are my personal reasons.
This is my personal path.
That's where the SPIRIT of GOD led me.
How about you?
As born again, have you thought about having a pure heart?
Why we must have a pure heart?
All that's answered on the next post.
